We start with an email or phone call to establish the scope of your project

Then a follow up phone meeting  or Zoom meeting is scheduled to discuss many aspects of your web project. This meeting usually lasts at least 1 hour.  Our focus will be on the marketing aspect of your website, questions about your product or service, your current company marketing material/ plan, visual styling, and functionality needed.

Based on our meeting we will put together a written quotation and scope of work.  Upon acceptance we will need a signed commencement of work agreement and a deposit.

We will do keyword research and may do search volume trending research in order to advise you of any recommended content changes to help market your business. We also look at your competitors and see what they are doing so we can make informed recommendations.

The design process starts by mocking up an example of the website home page in wire frame to show you the elements we recommend on the home page. Then we proceed to the actual graphic mock up. The graphic mock up will be shown to you prior to any programming and will represent the style, colours, logo and intended graphics.  At this point you can still make design changes.

We discuss the flow and see what changes you would like and implement them. Upon approval we move on.

Along the way we may make recommendations about the content or written text to enhance the marketing aspect of the website. Remember, we want you to get found on the search engines and engage the website viewer.

This could be the longest part of the process depending on the complexity of your website. We must now make our design into a beautiful WordPress website. We install WordPress on a compatible host and develop the website as per our site plan and mock ups. This will include adding all the functionality we discussed to make the website do what it needs to do.

We create all the pages on the website, menu, add all the content you have given us and create any custom graphics that would enhance the design or flow of the site.  Cross browser and device testing is done at this point.

You review the site and we make changes to make it perfect  

After your site is live, that is not the end of story. You need to keep your website maintained.  Like your car, it needs gas and oil changes.  The website will require regular maintenance.  We are here for you and offer maintenance agreements or we can teach you how.  Also we highly recommend that you update website content on a consistant regular basis.  This helps SEO and gives your viewers something new to read.
